MM 3/1 9/18   Good morning staff, we stand  5 days away from spring break. We must make sure that we capitalize on all of the  student instructional time within the classroom.  Elementary and middle please attempt to have volunteers complete the pre cutting and sorting  of materials  as much as possible.  I know that everyone is yearning for a break, and  looking forward to the upcoming time off. O implore you to run through the finish line and keep  up the good work with instruction in your classes.   Curriculum Updates   ELA:   Plan of action between now and testing: Teach to the pace of the maps during ELA block and reteach during intervention time. MM 3/12/18 Good evening, we are counting down our instructional days until we complete our assessments. We need to make sure that we utilize our Module 3 assessments to shape our instruction moving forward. All grade levels have data to utilize in creating your small groups, III interventions, and pull out from Specials. We have saw wonderful improvements with out 6-8 grade STAR Data in ELA based upon incentives of Takis and Donuts. We are also looking for incentives for staff members. Extra planning period, substitute for duty, food, etc. Please provide suggestions to administration and we will outline our reward system.  Weekly Focus Classroom learning schedules breakdown: bell work, transition, introductory activity transition, note taking checking for understanding independent work collaborative structures summarizing activity. MM 3/5/18 Hello everyone, assessment season is upon us. Please remember to follow all procedures provided to you by the manuals and Mrs. Reddick. We have worked hard to prepare our students and I know we will be successful on our Writing Assessments. Please remember not to stress, success happens when you accept the challenge of trying to achieve a goal, not when the goal is met. We’ve got this and let’s have a great week. Shout Outs Theatre Department for a wonderful job with the Adams Family Junior production. Everything was magnificent, the costumes, setting, and of course the actors. Shout out to 7th and 6th grade ELA/Reading instructors for their students drastic improvements on their STAR test that were rewarded with goodies from administration. Mrs. Richard and Mrs. Martin.
